Homeless Link

Who we are

Homeless Link is the national charity supporting organisations working directly with homeless people in England, representing the homelessness sector among local, regional and national government. As the national hub for information and debate on homelessness, Homeless Link seeks to make services for homeless people better and to advocate policy change that will end homelessness in England.

What we do

Homeless Link supports its members and other homelessness organisations that work directly with homeless people. We look for good practice in the sector then share it with others to boost the quality of work they do. We provide consultancy to organisations and agencies to help them improve services for homeless people. We publish online and offline toolkits, advice guides, websites and reports that help to improve how organisations work with homeless people.

Homeless Link is the national hub for information about homelessness and homelessness organisations in England. We collate and provide accurate up-to-date information that can be used to improve services and policies affecting homeless people.

We represent homelessness organisations in consultations with national and local government, and with other decision makers, with the aim of improving policies that affect homeless people. Through the media we aim to change public attitudes towards homelessness, so that effective policies on homelessness are easier to pursue by decision makers.

Through every aspect of our work, Homeless Link seeks to end homelessness in England.

On April 1 2009 Resource Information Service, the leading provider of directories, websites, information systems and research about services for people in need, became part of Homeless Link.
